Chyshuga started writing epic rock n’ roll hits in 2004. They released their self-titled EP early in the year which sold well under a million copies.
The band played real nice and real hard over the next year, gaining them a solid reputation with audiences as far as Edmonton, bypassing Red Deer altogether.

Over the next several years they did what most bands do… played many shows, wrote several songs… ingested numerous illicit substances. In 2007 Chyshuga released 100 copies of Chyshuga Presents: 23 Minutes of Chyshuga, a 4 song EP that fell just shy of curing cancer.
Days later, singer Ryan Gartner, guitarist Corey Mullin and drummer Tyler Larsen killed and buried guitarist Shilo Doetzel along with bassist Scotty Boy Whalen, who was later dug up by members of the Canadian supergroup Econoline Crush.
Surviving members of Chyshuga then teamed up with Zuckerbaby bassist extraordinaire, Ed “God of Thunder” Tiegs, and hit their top secret rehearsal studio to write new hits.
The band is currently working with producer Sylvia Massy in Weed, California to record their debut full length album.
After that…
The world will be changed forever.
